Spirituality Is the Root of your Health

Spirituality is 1/4 of your body’s dimensions.

Our spirituality is rooted in our belief system. What we believe about God and ourselves.
How we perceive the world, act, communicate, and simply live life, is rooted in our beliefs.
If what we believe is unsustained or trusted in what is simply not truth, then the suffering of this present world cannot be lifted nor at ease. The hope of eternal life and peace can only be found in the man whose name is Jesus. Trauma, pain, and suffering is what makes up our belief system as a child, portraying an outlook on life, others, ourselves, and even God.

Beliefs > thoughts > feelings > actions > results

A continuous cycle that cannot be broken until we uproot our beliefs system and allow the Creator of the heavens and the earth to show us what is sustained truth. From then, the word of God will spring up like an overflowing well and everything that you do- eating, communicating, loving, working, & serving will be rooted from it. Do you feel overburdened with the pain of your past, shame of the present, and worry of the future? Not knowing where to start, and trying to do all the right things to feel free, alive, and healthy? You’re not alone.

Not only is our spirituality rooted in our eating habits, relationships, and day to day life, but our nervous system too. The sympathetic nervous system is one of the two main divisions of the autonomic nervous system, which controls involuntary bodily functions. It is responsible for activating the body's "fight or flight" response in reaction to stressors or threats. When activated, the sympathetic nervous system triggers physiological changes aimed at preparing the body for action, such as increased heart rate, dilation of pupils, and inhibition of digestion. These responses help mobilize energy and resources to cope with the perceived danger. The parasympathetic nervous system is the counterpart to the sympathetic nervous system and is one of the two main divisions of the autonomic nervous system. It works to counterbalance the effects of the sympathetic nervous system, often referred to as the "rest and digest" system because it promotes relaxation, digestion, and other activities that occur when the body is at rest.

When our body detects danger, even if that danger is only perceived, it switches on the sympathetic nervous system, and so often many of us live in that state. Which then contributes to poor digestion, anxiety, disregulated emotions, hormonal imbalances, skin issues, ect. Your body begins to feel unsafe.

Healing the nervous system plays a crucial role in our multidimensional health.

Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7

Over a 4 week period, I work with clients to help them evaluate root causes that are plateauing/ keeping them from growing, through healing the nervous system and learning how to live free in the body God created them in.

Health is bio individual, it’s not a one size fits all. It takes time, commitment, and discipline. But it’s freeing, and I guarantee you it’s a worth the time.
